As of 28th March 2018, the CPCS A17D Telescopic Handler (Inc 360 Slew) category will be retired from the scheme and replaced with the new telehandler A77 category. This has been enhanced to include working tasks around hoist rope/ winch use which were previously outside the scope of the A17D category. Those currently holding an A17D card will need to undertake a transitional assessment to retain their ability to operate the A77 telehandler. This involves a series of theory questions and a practical assessment on a telehandler 360.
